ஹிந்தி சினிமாவின் சிறந்த இசையமைப்பாளர்கள்

10. R.D Burman

I only listened to his songs from 1942 Love Story, and like Indrajeet/Tum Karo Waada Tracks. He produces some nice stuff judging from those. OH FYI he is just as inspired as any other music director like Anu or Pritam, etc. So you can all STFU about how this MD is a copycat and the other MD is simply "inspired." Stupid people.

9. A.R Rahman

The most overrated MD in all history. His music is boring, and overhyped. People will simply boast about his music just judging by his name. However. his songs in Roja, Dil Se, Taal, Bombay, Rangeela, Kabhi Na Kabhi, Meenaxi and at most one tracks in each of his films are commendable. The OSTs I mention are the ONLY ones that I like as a whole, the rest suck in my open barring that one song or two.

8. Himesh Reshammiya

This man is about as versatile as Anu Malik for the 2000s. Though he is less inspired and more into rehashing his tracks, he is a damn good composer. His songs in Tere Naam, Aksar, Namaste London, etc etc to his latest Karzz, he produces amazing dance tracks and has some of the catchiest beats. Though, I do not like his voice very much and what’s keeping him from being in the top 5 is that he sings too much and some of the songs would sound amazing with a different singer.

7. Mm. Kreem

Most underrated MD of all time. In my opinion, "Tu Mile Dil Khile" is the greatest bollywood song ever composed. That alone put him in my 10. Though Criminal as a whole wasn’t the best OST, barring Tu Mile and maybe two other tracks. However, his songs in Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin, his private album Pehli Nazar,Jism, Sur, etc are amazing. Just simply amazing.

6. Viju Shah

I love his use of syntheiser, though he isn’t the most original composer, as all his hits are rip offs (Saat Samander is a rip off an english song, Tu cheez is an obvious rip of the NFAK song, etc), but they are well made, amazing in fact for their time. Mohra is definately one of the best OSTs of all time, that alone shows how versatile, melodious and well rounded a man can be. His best works are Mohra, Raavan Raj, Vishwatma, Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, Gupt, and Tere Mere Sapne.

5. Prtiam

"He is such a copycat, wannh wannh where’s my A.R rahman", typical typical saying of the masses. Well f*** them. His songs are wonderful, as plagirizied or cheap they may be. From Dhoom, to Race, to Metro, his songs are creative and mesmirizing. One of the MD I keep track of at the moment.

4. Anand Milind

The duo that disappeared in the early 2000s. They re-use their tunes and instruments more than any other MD i know of. The tune of Chandni Raat Hai has been reused in over 10 songs i’ve counted, I won’t get started on the ones with the opening flute interuludes from Koyal Se Teri Boli to Ta na na, etc. Despite these flaws, they are vasty enthralling. Their works in QSQT, Inteha Pyar Ki, Phool, Chandramukhi, Dil, Deewana Mujhsa Nahin, Madhosh, etc etc are fantabulous and one of a kind, I truly miss this duo.

3. Nadeem Shravan

They are in my humble opinion, the biggest "Chors" in bollywood. Seriously 90% of their albums, have at least one song ripped off from Pakistan. Now when you see my number, that’s not my biggest problem with them, it’s what they do with it. Examples being Tu Meri Zindagi Hai, which has very little creativity barring from the pakistani original. Though, I enjoy the Aashiqui number more than the original (Which is very good too btw). They plagirize way too much from one source, which is their biggest defeat and why most of their music is the same. Now, these guys are still the most melodious and chart busting men from 1990 till 1992. Sadak, Aashiqui, DHKMN, Deewana, Junoon, etc are just the best in terms of romantic tunes for that time and are simple beautiful (though each albums has their pakistani lift as per usual). Though nowadays, they are very stale... :(

2. Jatin Lalit

I love their RD Burman hangover, w/e people mean by that. Ever since I’ve listened to their songs from Khiladi, I’ve been in love with their fresh yet vintage style. I can’t express how much I listen to their songs from Yaara Dildaara, DDLJ, KKHH and vastly unheard of tracks from Gunda Mawali, Bhookamp, Saazish, etc. These guys are simply amazing, and it’s a shame they don’t compose anymore.

1. Anu Malik

This man is the most underrated, overlooked, most prejudiced against man in the history of music. He is versatile, he is melodious, he’s funny, he’s cool, he’s dance-worthy, and patriotic. He is also the only MD beside R.D burman to record a song with Mohd. Rafi (on my top ten list), don’t see A.R Rahman doing something like that. And those two songs from Poonam are amazing. He’s not original, and he is original, he’s BOTH. He has skill in stealing, and he has SKILL IN MAKING IT BETTER THAN IT’S ORIGINAL, Listen to any of the songs from Phir Teri Kahani and compare it with the original. Listen to Nahin Jeena Pyar Bina by NFAK then the Chaahat number of the same title. He is a creative, melodious, versatile man. He is amazing x100000. From Baazigar to Baazi, from Main Hoon Na to Fiza, from 1992 with Jaanam to now with the extremely underrated masterpiece Lovestory 2050, he is my most sought out music director, and my love for bollywood music wouldn’t be the same without him. He’s a legend, and DESERVES THE PROPER RECOGNITION FOR HIS MUSIC. PTKYA is the best bollywood album ever made. People one day, hopefully will give it the credit it deserves.

You are so right! Anu Malik deserves MUCH more credit than he gets. I'm glad to see another person who looks beyond theh media hype and appreciates music without any bias! :D
